Free Airborne Access WiFi with Nokia E Series Phones

Just bought a new phone — the Nokia E51. In the box was a little pamphlet that says Nokia E Series phone users can get as much as 60 free wifi days from Airborne Access.

The instructions were as simple and as easy as:

Step 1. From active standby screen, set “WLAN scanning on”.

Step 2. Click the “airborneaccess.net” icon to start web browsing in the Nokia WiFi Zone.

You will be directed to the welcome page on your first log in to the AA network. To enjoy this offer, do your first log in before June 30, 2008.

Valid for 60 days from date of first log in. This has been going on since last year but AA and Nokia is apparently ending it this June 2008. They also did this for the N-Series phones last year too.

  1. This will be added to the many options of the Filipinos of accessing the internet.

  2. I’m subscribed to Airborne Access Wifi and all I can say is … good luck finding a decent Airborne Access hotspot hehe :-)

  3. Finally you got the Nokia e51. What’s the retail price?

  4. There’s only one Airborne Access hotspot here in the whole province of Bataan. Should I call for a party because of this news?

  5. me and my wife bought a unit at greenhills. the lowest bid we got was Php11,500 and the unit is pretty much hard to find.

im pretty impressed with this phone, but i don’t think the airborne access is of any value to us. just like what the others are saying, getting a good coverage is hard to do. the phone happily uses the wlan at home though. i sometimes borrow it to surf the net while preparing to sleep. :D

    ciao!

  6. airborne access is everywhere …if you are living in the city. i’m usig e-series nokia (e71) and i can access anywhere I am as well as my tablet PC.
    good job!
