陆路运输特许与监管委员会（LTFRB）已批准在今天早些时候发布的董事会决议中提高出租车费用。
根据上述决议，Php40的下车费率将成为国家首都地区及其他吕宋省份（不包括科迪勒拉行政区）的所有出租车的永久基础费用，行驶距离按每公里Php13.50计费，同时对从起点到目的地的行驶时间每分钟额外收取Php2费用。
据称，陆路运输局（LTFRB）一直在考虑提高出租车费用，以便在与像 Uber 和 Grab 这样的运输网络车辆服务（TNVS）公司进行正面竞争时保持竞争力，LTFRB 主席马丁·德尔格拉三世上个月在一次采访中提到。“我们将努力使其与 TNVS 持平，尤其是与 Uber 系统持平，因为现在出租车司机的收入正在下降，”德尔格拉在 9 月 13 日参议院交通部预算听证会上表示。
新的出租车费用将自主要报纸发布之日起生效，除非董事会另行撤销或取消。

Couldn’t agree more. Who will be stupid enough to pay for a taxi ride at the same price as Uber / Grab but with broken down and dirty vehicles and rude drivers.

“same price lang nmn ang TAXI at UBER/GRAB, bakit ako magpapakapagod pumara sa labas, kung merong app for uber/grab?”
“nako taxi?! pano qng merong batingting yan? pano kung mangontrata ang mga taxi? dun nalang ako sa grab/uber”
mas ok sana kung naging mas MURA nalang ang taxi fare, para atleast ang comparison nalang ay “sa mura or sa mahal”
