Listen to article

Microsoft is going to stop supporting Office applications for Windows 10 users on October 2025.

Microsoft is planning to stop providing updates for Microsoft 365 apps on Windows 10. This will also occur for Office 2016, Office 2019, Office 2021, and Office 2024.

This effect will take place on October 14, 2025 which is the same day that the company will stop supporting the outdated Windows system.

“If you’re running Microsoft 365 on a Windows 10 device, the applications will continue to function as before. However, we strongly recommend upgrading to Windows 11 to avoid performance and reliability issues over time,” Microsoft states in their support website.

Microsoft urges users who are using Windows 10 to upgrade to Windows 11 to avoid any complications.
