I got this DVD installer in the mail last week for PLDT WatchPad. Been seeing the ads as well on TV lately and was wondering if this is a free or paid service from PLDT to all its myDSL subscribers.
While there are a lot of HD media players out there, I think there’s still room for more. So when I got a review unit of the BriteView-CinemaTube HD Media Player, I thought WD TV has some pretty nifty competition up ahead.

A new 55″ Samsung Series 8 LED TV is coming out and they’ll still be as thin as 1.2 inches. We’ve had the Series 7 before and this new one adds new features that could well replace a separate media player.
LED TVs are just starting to make an entry into the market and Samsung is one of the very first few ones that’s introducing them to consumers. Their entry-level model in the Series 7 is a 40-inch LED TV. This model uses light emitting diodes (LEDs) as its primary light source, rather than traditional cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) found in regular LCD TVs nowadays.
The new LG Scarlet is one LCD TV that combines form and function in one package. Been using the LG LH70 42″ HDTV for about a week now have and I’d like to share some of the highlights that I liked about this TV. See my full review after the jump.
