Okay, I have to admit that running a huge giveaway/contest is such a tedious job in terms of logistics especially if you have several hundreds (over 700+) entries to comb thru. Nevertheless, we’ll continue to do our give-away every month. So here’s Round #2 of the YugaTech Great Gadget Giveway — Gimme your best shot!
This is your chance to get that MSI Wind U123H, the 10-inch netbook with built-in 3G powered by Globe Tattoo.
So what do you need to do? Simple.
Go to the most crowded place and have your picture taken holding the sign “Follow @abeolandres and @talk2globe on Twitter! “.
I’m looking for the best shot — the most creative, most difficult, most crowded that will draw the biggest impact.
Upload your submission on Flickr, PixLink, Picasa, Facebook, or any of your favorite photo-sharing site. I suggest to name your photos as “yugatechcontest.jpg” before uploading and/or include a tag “yugatech contest” when applicable. You can even put it on your blog and write about the ordeal of getting that difficult shot.
You can download this PDF document and print it out to use as props. You can make your own sign too — print it, paint it, put it on a tarp, cartolina, or manila paper — be creative, sky’s the limit. (Hint: We might give special prizes to the most creative ones.)
Once you’re done, leave a comment here with the link to your entry/page.
What we’re giving away?
MSI Wind U123H — for the most difficult, most creative that draws the biggest crowd attention or impact. I’ll pick 5 finalists and ask a panel of judges (TBA) to win the top prize. The runners-up get a Globe Tattoo.
If you posted your entry on Facebook and get as many people to “Like” the photo, you win 5 Globe Tattoo and five Php500 Globe Load. That’s top 10 with the most “Likes”.
If you posted your entry on PixLink, we’ll randomly pick 5 entries to win a Globe Tattoo each.
If you blogged about your entry and linked back to this contest page, we’ll also pick 10 entries randomly to win five Globe Tattoo and five Php500 Globe call card.
I’ll be running a Google Image Search and pick 5 random images on the front page of the search results and give them a prize as well (Php500 Globe call card each). That’s the reason why I mentioned using the file name and/or tag above.
That’s 34 minor prizes and 1 grand prize so far. But wait, there’s more!

Waah! was about to submit now…kala ko Feb 28.
bakit may mga nagiingit at naninira ng entry kung s advertising lang naman ang paguusapan mas maganda naman ang may matataas n pesonalidad para ipakita ang message ni mr. abe lahat ay may karapatan para dun kung ang mga kandidato nga halos nagbabayad pa para mae-advertise sila wala karapatan manira ng entry ng may entry. naghirap din ang tao na yun para lang dun hayaan na lang natin ang yuga at si mr. abe humusga. kung totoong wala entry wag na magcomment kung hindi naman makakatulong..salamat

@Guis : got your drift pero sana eh.. before you comment you should read the whole criteria and the contest rules… minsan eh… your own opion backfires and it will sound an uneducated opinion.
But yeah.. just like what the rule said…

I would done the same for the sake of that MSI Wind but I don’t have the guts to do so… poor me! But kudos to the boxer shorts guy who wore a Predator costume!!!!

Sigh, I wonder why people who obviously lack talent, gutts, nerve and creativity would try to undermine other contestant’s bright ideas just coz their prematured pea brain lack the neuronic activity to function well..
I admire those who went out of their way just to share their creativity and passion to make the contest interesting enough to view, unlike some other wannabees who’d prefer to have it dull, much like themselves hehe “PEACE”..

First of all, I didn’t say any names. Bakit naman ninyo ina-ssume na yung boxer brief guy yun?
To be quite honest, i scanned every entry and hindi naman siya ang pinaka nakapagcatch ng attention ng crowd (compared sa iba). The only thing na pwedeng mag count sa kanya ay yung creativity and difficulty.
And I didn’t say na it’s not qualified. I’m just saying na if i’m the one he’s advertising, I might get famous because of the bad publicity. BUT, hindi ako si Mr. Abe so wala naman akong say talaga sa kung sinong mananalo.
Totoo sinasabi ninyo, the contestants can do want they want. If ako naging contestant siyempre iisipin ko din ang magiging image ng inaadvertise ko. BUT AGAIN, di ako nakapagpost on time.
For those of you who insulted me, GiusGAYis, I know who you are. God Bless you nlang and may he give you more patience.. Inom ka muna ng tubig..

guis wag kana magpanggap isa ka lang s may entry na sa sobrang dami wala ka lang tiwala sa entry m dahil may mas maganda wag kana manira at kng may panget ka comment sarilinin m nlng nangugulo ka ng blog.maayos ang posted dto parespect ka pa kuno obvious naman na takot ka matalo. c’mon! kahit s sarili m entry obvious n naman n may sinisira ka manahimik ka nlng!

Just my opinion, ang karapatan ng tao sa isang demokratikong bansa ay limitado lamang. Kung naka ka tapak ka na ng ibang tao sa karapatang ginagawa mo, my karapatan din silang tapakan ka sa karapatang inagaw mo sa kanila.
Kaya mas maganda kung wala nang negative comments sa kung sino mang tinutukoy mo. Let’s leave it up to the judges of this event and keep the comments to yourself unless your a judge…
