Acer's Timeline series has had a tablet version for the 11.6-inch version (1810TZ to 1820PTZ) and the model is now selling locally for a suggested retail price of Php37,500. The CULV category of Acer is carried by their Timeline series in the 11.6", 13.3" and 14.1". The Acer Timeline 1825ptz is basically almost the same in terms of specs and only differ due to the tablet form factor (that one where you swivel it around and use a stylus with). The retail price of Php37,500 may suggest why the non-tablet model (Timeline 1810tz) has a surprisingly cheaper price. Acer is changing its approach to tablets by using a screen shape usually found on premium laptops. The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990.
