We rarely seen one of these in stores (ones for mobile phones are more common) so I got a bit interested when a distributor friend sent a sample unit to me. This universal adapter from Intex promises to charge up to 13 laptop brands in one go.

The adapter comes with two socket types — one for the regular power outlet and another one for the car socket charger so you can actually bring this charger on the road as well.

There are 11 different output tips that should be compatible with almost any laptops in the market today. Intex claims they support more than a dozen brands — Acer, Gateway, Asus, Dell, IBM, HP/Compaq, Sony, Toshiba, NEC, Panasonic, Fujitsu and Lenovo. Too bad they don’t got one for Apple.

Most interesting of all is that this multi-charger only costs around Php1,000. Will really come in handy when your original adapters get lost or busted.

hello, good day. I just bought this charger and I immediately used it, my unit sony vaio. my question is, why is it, when the charging reaches 80% it stops charging, and the energy runs out to fast. do you think this unit I just got was not good? or I mean could this adapter be subject for replacement?

I bought at electronic botique for P870.00… Im using it now as an alternative adapter for my vaio.. so far ok naman sya.. May voltage regulator naman kaya no worries..

I bought this charger for my latptop. It only lasted for about 2weeks. You should buy the original instead. Not of good quality. Broke my laptop.

Test this one first before buying. I tried this unit with my Compaq CQ40, the charging led indicator lit up but the battery wasn’t actually charging.

If you will consider this one, then you better check out CDR-King.

great one Yuga!
I bought one of those compatible chargers in GH for 1,400 i think..
pero maganda ito kasi universal.
I remember my 1st laptop na Toshiba, we couldn’t find a charger kasi raw Tricom will ship from Singapore in 90 days, urgent na. So had to find one in HKG na mahal at ang bulky. I should check this out!

Intex is also china brand…. U can buy universal laptop charger from cdr king for less than a thousand…. I think there is no difference with regard to durability.

hmmm Intex? Somewhat familiar…if I am correct this brands are usually found in Greenhills or Gilmore for their cheapo speakers…

Well good idea to have an adoptor capable of charging different brand. :-)
