Blog Network Wars

Jason Calacanis seems to be having a time of his life bullying other blog networks lately. After he came strong about Creative Weblogging allegedly ripping off WeblogsInc’s blog design, Torsten Jacobi of CW fired back. Then, Jason strikes another pose as her openly declares competition against Pijama’s Media blog business model.

AnP shares her view on PTB and adds:

A quick look at the index page of CW and you will immediately see what may seem to be the cause of Calcanis’ wrath. Although, his way of letting off steam and finger-pointing leaves a lot be desired.

Mr. WeblogsInc here is playing dirty. I just don’t understand this guy. At least, we now know what an AOL acquisition can do for a blogger.

What a shame.

Sometimes, it makes me wish blogging was just as it was a couple or so years ago… when everything was friendly banter and blogging was primarily a way to express oneself. Meeting friends became an added bonus.

I wonder how it has come to be like this.
