So I got an email from one of the engineers (Technical Services Division) of Smart wanting to clarify/correct my previous entry regarding the Php1 per minute rates Smart is offering.
I am told that the 1 peso per minute rate is an option available for users who have prepaid load of less than Php10. This is to help users maximize their remaining load credits.
However, there another set of per minute charging which is available to all prepaid users as another option. Here’s the screenshot of the complete offerings taken from Smart WebConnect.
So that’s Php60 for 3 hours (180 minutes) and expires in 2 days, Php100 for 5 hours (300 minutes) and expires in 4 days and Php150 for 7.5 hours (450 minutes) and expires in 7 days.
The rates still follows Smart Bro’s Php20 per hour and will still be great for people who frequently use Twitter, FB or FourSquare but don’t really need to go online 24/7.
If you go with UnliSurf, that’s Php50 for 24 hours. If your cumulative mobile internet usage is under 3 hours for 2 days, instead of using Php100 for 2 days of UnliSurf, you have the option to pick Php60 for 3 hours within a 2-day period (which makes it cheaper).

I’m impressed, I have to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the difficulty is one thing that not sufficient persons are talking intelligently about. I am very blissful that I stumbled across this in my seek for something regarding this.
hi,sister i am d sister of cherry galura mangahas i just want to ask why when i s search for the name of my sister in google it will appear on your website exactly like this CHERRY GALURA MANGAHAS SEX SCANDAL.PLEASE i hope you can do something about it because it causes shame to my sister and to our whole family..we really need your help.thank you..
its way affordable but,we don’t have 3g coverage yet on our area, this is good for those who have tight budget.
been using minute-by-minute charging back in 2009 for few months, until SUN Broadband arrives and put up a cell site near my location within the village, better signal and convenient unlimited charging rates. unlocked my smartbro usb and been using now for more than a year for Sun Broadband sim.
I still like the idea of being able to choose between half-hour and per minute charging though. I often use Facebook/Twitter/Foursquare for just a minute or two at a time so an option to go for per minute charging would save me a lotta moolah.
i still go for SUN.. :)
