Spotted this ultraslim mouse by Samsung the other day and I thought it would be perfect for a netbook. At just 8mm thin, this could probably be the slimmest optical mouse I’ve seen ever.Â
The mouse has simple yet unique design, especially the rotating wheel around the center button. Rotating it clockwise scrolls the page down and counter-clockwise scrolls the page up. The center button represents left click while the right-click is enabled on the right side of the outer wheel (much like the clickwheel of the old iPods).
The USB cable is fastened at the front side with a small lever at the other end allows you to retract the cables back inside the device. There’s a blue light from inside the mouse the leaks out thru the openings (it somewhat glows in the dark).
Being too slim has its drawbacks — the mouse isn’t ergonomic so you may find it a little tiring after prolonged use. Comes with a leather pouch and costs a bit pricey at Php1,350.
Where is this available?
for the price range, i’d rather go for an entry-level wacom digitizing tablet. that would be more practical, since i’m into graphics.
looks like a [phone !
at least to me, that’s the most comfortable… although, it doesn’t work smooth on shiny surfaces. works best over a bond paper… based on experience. :)
it’s the most comfortable mouse I’ve ever used. I’ve been using the same mouse for almost a year now, i think. got it from ebay.
I do think that it’s not economical to use it because of its price. It has the same function as an optical mouse nothing more.
It’s made by Nortek?
For that price? I’d get a gaming mice from Logitech instead! :D
Looks good. I hope it feels (and functions) good too. HAHA :)
not very attractive ~ :P
Slim yet Carpal-tunnel-syndrome-friendly…
Oh no. That sure looks like carpal tunnel syndrome magnet.
Looks like a pain in the… hand.
………Interesting
I don’t need that. I had my air mouse downloaded in my IPOD touch and it works just so perfect.
for me mas ok razer salmosa for gaming.
hm…i would rather get myself a wireless mouse for that price or a gaming mouse in fact!
That’s carpal tunnel syndrome waiting to happen…
Still, better that than the ridiculous side-buttons of HP Mini netbook touchpads.
better this than nothing, i guess, at least for laptop users.
Methinks my wrist will hate me but my Sammy will love it!
