When I finally saw the video of Steve Jobs announcing and demoing the Genius, the first thing that came to mind was *kaching*. I think you get the drift.
The idea behind iTunes Genius is that it “creates a playlist from songs in your library that go great together.” It’s basically a smart discovery-recommendation engine that offers a new set of songs from a user-selected song in your playlist.

The Genius idea actually attracts more purchases from the iTunes store. The engine actually up-sells you new songs you might want to own and listen too. Apple should have had this feature much, much earlier — it’s a great idea and it’s something that could tremendously push their iTunes sales. Kaching!

Sure maybe these ‘newbies’ don’t have the collectors edition of ‘Slapshot’ or know that ‘Brass Bonanza’ by the now defunct Hartford Whalers was the most epic
sports song ever, but at least they are starting to
get it. It is important to keep in mind that there have been NO confirmed cases of swine flu in Jalisco.
These community centers have support groups, meetings, and events
that help people meet each other.
