New Macbooks spotted at CEL

I’m blogging live here at CEL Manila. Event started at 10am this morning but I was a bit late. The first booth I visited was Apple, represented by local distributor Senco. Got some pictures of the new Macbook and Macbook Pro.

The new Macbooks are more elegant and classy especially with the silver and black aluminum casing. The Macbook Pro and the regular Macbooks all looked the same now, except of course for the display size and specs.

The trackpad is much larger/wider it also serves as the button which is actually not hard hard to get used to. I saw several people a bit confused though where or what to click.

Senco is selling the Macbook 13″ 2.0GHz (MB466) for only Php66,000 cash while the MB467 2.4GHz is Php80,000 (5% extra for straight credit card purchase). They’re also selling the older white Macbooks (MB402) for Php53,000.

More coverage of CEL Manila as we get them. Have to go to the Sony Vaio launch first.

  1. Do they have the display port dongle for the new Macbook Pro in stock already?

  2. visited CEL as well this morning. when i saw the new MACs, all i could remember was the double Ms and the missing B. ahehehe.

as for CC prices, straight payments shouldn’t even incur any additional fee. pft.

  3. @SBH – you can get it from them on a per order basis. No final price yet but they said it could be around Php1,800.

  4. I spotted this one too.. in iStudio greenhills, hehe. yesterday. not bad..
