Information Technology sector still has the highest-paying jobs in PH

Professionals working in the Information Technology field are still the highest paid individuals according to JobStreet.com, an online job site in the Philippines.

As stated in JobStreet’s 2016 Jobs and Salary Report, positions in IT-related profession starting at Php38,000/month for junior executives, web developer, software developer, and systems administrator with one to four year of experience.

Supervisors, systems analyst, IT project developer, and senior software developer with five or more year of experience are paid with an average of Php63,485 per month. While managers and assistant managers get about Php86,550 every month, which is the highest among the Information Technology sector.

According to JobStreet.com Philippines country manager, Philip Gioca, the best-paying jobs in the managerial level are in the business process outsourcing (BPO) or call center offices. The report is based on the actual salaries of the posted positions on their website from last quarter of 2015.

For the coming years IT-related jobs will still be one of the highest paying. There’s always vacancy for IT-related jobs because of the demand here and abroad.

uhh, to be honest the highest paid should be Oil and Gas Chemical Engineers. Can get 6 digits before you reach 30. The only issue is that the average is getting pulled down by JGC/Chiyoda.

The data is how clients / customer per head and not the actual salary that the BPO employees are getting.

i believe that these employers are offering this high pay but low-ball you when you are already there…
