Samsung launches AI-powered personal health assistant

Listen to article

Samsung has announced Health Assistant, calling it the “first fully integrated AI-powered personal health assistant.”

Samsung Health Assistant combines key health data with AI-driven insights, letting users ask questions about their health and receive personalized guidance and recommendations.

The feature pulls data from Samsung Health’s five pillars of wellness, namely sleep, activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vitals, then turns this into actionable insights while explaining how each factor affects the others. Samsung adds that the tool identifies patterns users might otherwise miss, with recommendations reviewed by physicians and certified health coaches.

The company has made the feature available in beta for eligible US users of Samsung Health.

Samsung has yet to announce if Health Assistant will roll out to other markets, including the Philippines.
