Tronsmart Element Splash Hands-on, First Impressions

Tronsmart has a new Bluetooth speaker on the market. This time it’s a rugged type with IP67 water-resistance, a portable design, True Wireless Stereo (TWS) support, and an affordable price tag – the Tronsmart Element Splash. Check out our hands-on of the device below.

One of the first things we noticed about the Element Splash is its rugged build. It sports a soft rubber exterior with an included carabiner so you can clip it on to your backpack or bike. It actually reminds us of the JBL Clip 2.

It’s small, no bigger than the palm, but is still chunky, has decent heft, and feels solid and well-made.

On the front are the speaker and the LED indicator, while up top are the buttons for Power, Volume Down, Play/Pause, and Volume Up.

Hidden by a rubber flap at the back, are the micro USB port for charging and microSD card slot.

Audio quality is good with crisp and clear mids and highs. There’s bass as well, but it’s not that punchy, which is understandable given its size and asking price. The loudness good enough for a small picnic gathering, poolside party, or casual listening in the bedroom.

What made us like it more is the TWS feature. If you have two Element Splash speakers, you can pair them together to combine for a stereo setup that produces a much louder and immersive experience. As for battery life, Tronsmart claims up to 10 hours of playback.

The Tronsmart Element Splash Bluetooth Speaker is priced at Php999 and comes in Blue Camouflage and Black colors. See Lazada listing here.
