Ford GT Supercar application now up, is customizable

Starting today, applications for those who want to buy the Ford GT supercar is open for Filipinos. There will also be an online configurator that allows you to customize and design your own dream vehicle just the way you like it.

By visiting FordGT.com, interested buyers may apply for the first 500 limited edition vehicles. Applicants will be verified, approved, and will eventually work with the new Ford GT Concierge Service for a “personalized purchase experience.”

Being the most advanced production vehicle from the company, the new Ford GT will be lightweight, aerodynamic, and fuel efficient (thanks to its EcoBoost engine technology).

Those whose applications are granted will be assisted by the concierge and be provided with tailored experience from ordering, delivery, and even through the years of ownership.

In terms of customization, the online configurator mentioned earlier will offer you a breakdown of color combinations, wheels, and materials to be used even for the interior of your dream car.

The Ford GT is available in eight colors (four interior themes) and can be paired with one of seven different stripe colors.

Pricing is still undisclosed, but will depend on taxes, VAT, and freight delivery. If you still haven’t realized it, this is going to be one of the rarest Ford products ever with only 250 units produced per year after the first 2 years of production.

Just for fun, what color combination are you eyeing? Dibs on the blue body with twin white stripes!

  1. The GT will start in the “mid-$400,000s,” Ford says, excluding options, extras and destination and delivery fees.
