Get your facts straight? A smartphone in 1984? Ffs. RIM was borne then but it doesnt mean they were already making smartphones then not even phones.

The definition of “smartphone” changes. Smartphone noon, di na smartphone ngayon, pero they were during that time. Wasn’t the N-series from Nokia considered smartphones?

Pocket PC is different from smartphone. Pocket PC is more of a personal digital assistant (PDA). If you saw the ASUS MyPal series, walang SIM card slot yun so it can’t be considered a smartphone haha.
But I think their first smartphone was the ASUS P305, running Windows Mobile 5.0 and released 2006.
