Listen to article

Google is updating their Wear OS to have easier information and notification access as well as smarter health coaching.

The company is now streamlining the notification system of Wear OS by pulling all notifications into one area. With the new update, a simple swipe up will reveal all notifications at once. They’ve also added in a built-in smart reply by just tapping at the message. To cap it all off, swiping down will now reveal a quick access panel for shortcuts.

Google Assistant is now more proactive and will provide smarter suggestions, including flight and hotel active notifications. Lastly, Google is adding in smarter health coaching by introducing the Heart Points and Move Minutes active goal features. With a simple left swipe, users can now easily start a workout or track the aforementioned goals.

These updates will arrive to Wear OS smartwatches next month.
