Cherry Mobile has officially unveiled the latest Aqua S10 Pro in the Philippines. It comes with a MediaTek Helio G90 chipset, quad rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery. On the flip side, the Infinix Note 10 Pro sports a tightly knitted Helio 90T chipset, quad rear cameras, and the same 5,000mAh battery! But which between the two is the best bang-for-buck option? Display
Both smartphones sport an FHD+ IPS LCD of around 6-inches; however, the Infinix Note 10 Pro sports a slightly larger 6.95-inch screen, while the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro has a 6.67-inch screen.
The Infinix Note 10 Pro also sports a 90Hz refresh rate. With a high refresh rate, scrolling through social media, long documents, or news feeds is less strenuous on the eyes because of the extra perceived fluidity. Along with this, it also comes with a 180Hz touch sampling rate that gives users a snappier experience when gaming or using applications.
CPU and GPU
The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90 processor, while the Infinix Note 10 Pro comes with a slightly advanced Helio G90T. Both also come with an ARM Mali-G76 GPU.
Looking at the AnTuTu 8 scores of their processors, the Helio G90T got a higher score of 278,708, while the Helio G90 received 220,327. However, do note that we can only determine the extent of their performance and thermals once we have both units for a review.
RAM and Storage
The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro offers 6GB of RAM, while the Infinix Note 10 Pro comes with a larger 8GB. Nonetheless, both smartphones have 128GB of RAM that can be expanded through a dedicated microSD card slot without sparing their dual-SIM capabilities.
Camera
Both smartphones consist of quad rear cameras. The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro got 48MP (main), 5MP (wide), 2MP (depth), and 2MP (macro) sensors. On the other hand, the Infinix Note 10 Pro features a higher resolution 64MP main camera, along with 8MP (ultrawide), 2MP (B&W), and 2MP (Portrait) sensors.
Upfront, both have the same 16MP selfie camera, so both could be equally good for selfies.
Take note, though, that these numbers don’t always equate to quality. We will provide proof of which camera is better once we test both units for comparison.
Connectivity & Other Features
As for connectivity, the two are powered with the same specs, such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and A-GPS, and dual-SIM. For security, however, both sport fingerprint scanners. Moreover, both smartphones also come with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Battery
For the battery, both phones are equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery. The Infinix Note 10 has a faster charging rate of 33W compared to the 30W of the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro. However, it’s an advantage for the Aqua S10 Pro that it comes with a 10W wireless charging capability.
Price
The Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro (6GB + 128GB) comes with a more affordable price tag of PHP 7,999. The Infinix Note 10 Pro (8GB + 128GB), on the flip side, is priced at PHP 9,990.
Which one to get?
Those who are looking for a more affordable one may opt for the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro. It also boasts related specs as its opponent with an added benefit of a 10W wireless charging capability.
However, with a price difference of PHP 2K, the Infinix Note 10 Pro gives you more benefits, such as a slightly larger display geared with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, a slightly better processor, a higher resolution main camera, and a slightly faster-charging rate.

Service center availability should also be considered, why buy a pricey phone with only 1 time use, Infinix have few service center, and they cost a fortune for every repair, a waste of money
