I updated my Lumia 636 yesterday. It seems to come in two parts, first an update to 10586.107, and then when you check for updates again, another (just as long) update to 10586.164. Seems to work fine for the most part. It took about 5-6 hours total, though.

The new “Groove” music player is really horrible, though. It doesn’t read my mp3 tags or album art.

done updating my nokia lumia 1520 to windows 10. more than 1 gig. almost 2 hours updating.windows 10 mobile version 1511 os build: 10.0.10586.107. andun pa din un live tiles nya from windows 8.1 i was hoping for a full windows 10 like when i updated my hp stream 8. wla un windows start button na when u press it the apps and tiles will appear from the start screen like in the 950xl. well at least baka me updates pa na susunod. sa office 365 you can only view files but not edit them. you need to buy the paid office version first.

Are you talking about continuum? Because only the newer phones support it. And it won’t be like your HP Stream 8 or any other PC, because it’s not a PC, it’s still a phone. Wala talagang start button yan, wala rin start button yung 950XL ko unless I use Continuum. As for Office, it’s weird, it’s supposed to be free on mobile eh, or at least last I heard…. baka binago nanaman nila…

yup, the continuum. the windows site was bragging about it and the office as a productivity tool sa updates. sabi nila madami pa mga updates to follow. parang malabo na ibigay nila un sa mga old phones.its like they are herding the users to buy the full windows devices like the surface. pero ang mahal pa din.

You may need to have up to 1.5GB free phone memory to ensure that the software update goes smoothly.
