EMUI 10 based on Android 10 now available for Huawei P30 Pro, P30

We’ve gotten reports that both the Huawei P30 Pro and P30 already received the update for EMUI 10 based on Android 10.

The update is for EMUI build 10.0.0.178, which has a 4.6GB file size and includes fixes for known call issues as well as Huawei’s latest December security patch. The security patch is said to fix 3 critical, 24 high, and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures.

There are two ways to update to the latest version, either via settings or the HiCare App.

If you want to update via settings,

1. Open Settings
2. Tap on System & updates
3. Tap on Software update
4. Tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES
5. And lastly, tap on Download and install

If you want to update via the HiCare App,

1. Open the HiCare App
2. Tap on Update
3. Tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES
4. Then tap on Download and install
