Globe enables one-step SIM registration for its Postpaid, Platinum users

We previously reported that Globe Postpaid and Platinum subscribers are pre-registered for SIM Registration which is implemented in December 2022.

Globe Telecom now enables postpaid subscribers to confirm their SIM (subscriber identity module) registration in one step by simply texting “SIMREG” to 8080 in response to a Globe text prompting them to validate their information.

Globe explained that by sending the text message, individual Globe Postpaid and Platinum customers confirm to Globe their full name, date of birth, sex, address, and proof of identification, which they had submitted during their postpaid application.

Meanwhile, registration for prepaid users is available 24/7 on Globe’s SIM registration website.

To provide extra support, Globe has begun offering assisted registration sites nationwide for senior citizens, people with disabilities, pregnant women, feature phone users, and anyone else who may need help with registration before the April 26 deadline.
