TikTok has released some updates to its camera and editing tools including new features in Green Screen, one-tap video enhancements, new sound effects, and more.
GIPHY in Green Screen
Green Screen is one of the most used effects on TikTok by the community. With the new updates, users are now able to use GIFs with the green screen as they partnered with GIPHY to apply GIFs as backgrounds.
One-tap visual enhancement
With TikTok’s innovation of the one-tap visual enhancement, improvements on exposure, low-light, color correction are done immediately. Uploads from the camera roll or shooting directly from TikTok are done efficiently with the help of video enhancement to help fine-tune videos prior to publishing.
New musical and animal voice effects
Sounds and voices can now be made using TikTok’s music synthesis. People can now make their sound mimic a dog’s bark or flute’s melody. TikTok will be adding more sound effects as they go but for now, users can go on the Editing page, tap the “Voice Effects” button on the right panel then select one of the three new options to transform the audio in videos to sounds like a suona, flute, or cat.
High-Quality Uploading
Furthermore, creativity should be done in high definition. TikTok now allows 1080p HD uploads in select countries. This will allow sharing of high-quality content and audiences to enjoy a more optimized viewing experience. Just record or upload the video and once the user is on the Publishing page, tap on “More options” where they can toggle on the “Upload HD” setting to publish videos in up to 1080p resolution.
