Design

You can customize each LED color in the graphics card and the crystalline-looking facade of the GPU brings such an amazing look to your lights. Trying this out, I loved how much control I had over the lights and it could match whatever color your gaming rig is. It just begs for serious gaming and using it I felt like I had all the power in the world to play my games at max settings.

Performance

The easy answer to this is two words: max settings. You can play any game at full graphics settings at 1080p or even at 1440p at over 60 FPS. Competitive games also don’t have a problem running at 144 FPS or even higher and that is some serious graphic power. Palit’s GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GameRock OC is the company’s flagship RTX 3070 Ti that comes with a large overclock out of the box. The rated boost frequency is set to 1845 MHz. If you seriously want the best graphical fidelity, especially if you’re using a 4K monitor, the Palit GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti GameRock can handle most AAA titles at over 60 FPS! At 1080P, I tested Red Dead Redemption 2 and I averaged over 100FPS at max graphical settings, while at 1440P it averaged over 80FPS. That is amazing for a game as demanding as RDR2. Another open-world game that is very demanding is Watch Dogs: Legion. I averaged around 92FPS on 1080p, and over 70FPS constantly on 1440P at max settings!

And if that graphical performance isn’t enough for you then being an RTX card, is available for you in order to squeeze the most FPS out of your GPU. If you guys don’t know, DLSS is an AI algorithm that upscales lower resolution images and brings it up to higher quality. It will super sample a 1080P image and upscale that image out to 4K. That is an amazing feat that is only available with RTX GPUs. Check these numbers out:

Gaming isn’t the only thing the card can do. This card can also pull its weight when rendering video. If you need a card to edit your high-res videos, the Palit GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti GameRock can easily handle the task. I used the graphics card in editing a couple of pictures that I took and not once did I experience hiccups in performance. At the same time, the graphics card soars high in synthetic benchmarks. High performance means high temperatures right? Well, that’s not the case with the Palit GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti GameRock. It has amazing thermal solutions that I can say work really well when it comes to cooling the card. First is the Embossed Heatsink; the fin of the card is molded with embossments to enlarge the air contact area for the most efficient heat dissipation. There is also the patented Double-U Heat Pipe. Palit has innovated the Double-U Heat Pipes, using a patented technology to mold the heat pipes into optimal angles, and double-bends it into a U-shape. It doubles the contact area between the heat pipes and the fins to boost heat dissipation efficiency. There are also two die-casted molded plates that fully cover the circuit board that directly attaches to all the hot spots on the PCB for better heat dissipation and protection.

The card also features TurboFan 3.0 Two Ball Bearing. This means lower fan vibration and longer fan life and stability. There’s also 0dB Tech, which I can say really works well. The cards don’t run when the card isn’t doing anything heavy, they will only turn on when doing heavy loads such as gaming or rendering.

Conclusion

The Palit GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti GameRock is one of the best-performing graphic cards that I’ve personally used. Aside from the usual performance you get from an RTX 3070 Ti, you get better thermals, better performance, and an amazing design. The Palit GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti GameRock is more than enough for the enthusiast gamer as well as the modern creative professional. They might call this the Dazzling Angel, but for me, with the power and ferocity this card carries, I believe another perfect name for it would be “White Walker” as the card looks like it came out from Game of Thrones and straight into your PC.
