Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be powered by the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. This was confirmed via Redmi’s Weibo profile, which also outed some key specs of the device.

It will sport a 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution, peaking at 3,200 nits. Protecting the screen is Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass. There’s also stereo speakers with a mode for reaching 400% volume and up to 82.5dB output.

The chipset is set to be paired with a 5,200mm² vapor chamber for thermals. Battery-wise, it packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W of wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Xiaomi claims the battery is rated for up to 1,600 charging cycles.
For cameras, it will have a 50MP main camera with an OmniVision Light Hunter 800 sensor. This is paired with a telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom.
To showcase its capabilities, Redmi shared these sample photos. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is set to be unveiled in China soon. We’ll update readers once it’s unveiled.
