Google Philippines officially launches StreetView, Trekker

Back in November, we reported the a Google StreetView Car was spotted along EDSA, noting the possibility of StreetView to be available locally . Today Google Philippines is formally launching Google Street View.

The event is still ongoing so few details are available as of the moment.

Google is also introducing the Trekker which is a backpack with 15 camera lenses for 360 degree panorama shots.

  1. Please launch the Google Philippines Playstore and sell nexus 5 for Php16k. Please!?!?

  2. Who wants to see 360 of Manila? You sir, ok here it is. Yaiks!

  3. So where’s StreetView? I’m looking at EDSA in Google Maps but I still don’t see the option.

But that’s a good sign na narerecognize ang Pinas na may potential. Lalo pa at Google yan :D

  6. already available Baluarte de San Diego and Fort Santiago!

  7. This will be a great help to travelers and city adventurer like me who relies on google map. :-)
