As the country continues to fight with COVID-19, the public’s need of sending money to their loved ones has become stronger. Among the digital solutions currently offered by banks are online and mobile bank transfers, as well as remittance centers. BPI Online is currently offering money transfers with Cebuana Lhuillier to provide more options to its customers. Check out the full details below.
For the sender via desktop:
1. Visit the BPI to Cash website 66.
2. Choose Cebuana Lhuillier as a payout partner for cash pickup.
3. Fill in the important details such as the amount to send, complete name of the receiver (first name, middle initial, last name), and the receiver’s contact number.
4. Check and confirm the details then tap “Next”.
5. Enter the registered email address.
6. Log in to your BPI Online account with your credentials.
7. Select which from your BPI accounts you would like to use, then press “Pay”. A service fee of PHP 99 will be charged per send out.
8. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number and click “Proceed”.
9. Get the 13-digit BPI to Cash reference code that will appear on the confirmation screen. Send it to the receiver.
For the sender via mobile:
1. Open the BPI Mobile app, swipe up, and tap the BPI to Cash banner.
2. The BPI to Cash website 22 will open on the mobile browser.
3. Fill in the important details such as the amount to send, complete name of the receiver (first name, middle initial, last name), and the receiver’s contact number.
4. Check and confirm the details then tap “Next”.
5. Enter the registered email address.
6. Log in to your BPI Online account with your credentials.
7. Select which from your BPI accounts you would like to use, then press “Pay”. A service fee of PHP 99 will be charged per send out.
8. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number and click “Proceed”.
9. Get the 13-digit BPI to Cash reference code that will appear on the confirmation screen. Send it to the receiver.
For the receiver:
1. Get the 13-digit reference code from the sender.
2. Go to the nearest Cebuana Lhuillier branch.
3. Inform the teller that you are claiming via BPI to Cash.
4. Present a valid ID and the 13-digit reference code upon claiming.
5. Get the cash.
Important notes:
• Cebuana Lhuillier will send a text message to notify the receiver if the money is already available for claiming at their branch.
• Senders may send up to PHP 50,000 a day. The maximum amount that they can send per transaction is PHP 10,000.
• To locate the nearest Cebuana Lhuillier branches, visit this website. The standard business hours of Cebuana Lhuillier runs from 8 AM to 5 PM. Do note that the operation hours of some branches vary due to the pandemic.
• The receiver’s name must match the ID presented upon claiming.
• Funds will be available for pick-up at Cebuana Lhuillier branches 1 hour after the transaction is processed by the sender. Transactions processed beyond 4:00 PM will be available the following day.
