We’re almost done with the first half of 2020, and despite the pandemic, smartphone companies continued to release their latest devices. Last time we provided you our list of flagship and premium mid-range devices. This time, we’re going for more affordable mid-range smartphones under PHP 15,000.
If you want excellent specs at a very competitive price tag, the Huawei Nova 7i is the one. It features a 6.4-inch LTPS display and runs on a Kirin 810 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It features a quad-rear camera set up in a square module consisting of a 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP portrait shooter. It comes with EMUI 10 (based on Android 10) out of the box and it’s powered by a 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
The Huawei Nova 7i is priced at PHP 13,990.
Earlier this year, Huawei has launched one of its latest mid-range devices, the Y9s. It sports a massive 6.59-inch FullView display, a Kirin 710F chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, triple rear cameras, equipped with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, 16MP front-facing camera, and a 4,000mAh battery.
So if you’re looking for a phone that looks amazing, has an immersive display, a premium body, and okay cameras, then the Huawei Y9s ticks all those boxes for PHP 13,990.
Recently Samsung Galaxy M31 is seen on its official online store in Lazada and now available in Samsung online store. It sports a quad-camera setup, a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 6,000 mAh battery that supports 15W wired fast charging. It is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9611 processor and has expandable storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. It has a quad-rear camera setup consisting of the 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 5MP depth. For the front, it has a 32MP shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is priced at PHP 13,990.
The Redmi Note 9S packs some pretty good specs for the price. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G CPU, Adreno 618 GPU, and a large 5,020mAh battery with an 18W fast charge. It has a quad-rear camera setup consisting of the 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth. For the front camera, it has a 16MP shooter.
The Redmi Note 9S is available for PHP 10,490 (4GB + 64GB) and PHP 11,990 (6GB + 128GB).
Xiaomi recently launched its newest Redmi lineup, and one of them is the Redmi Note 9 Pro, it has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and hole-punch or DotDispaly front camera at the top. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G and packs a 5020mAh battery and with 30W fast charging. The quad-rear cameras consist of the 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth. For the front, it has a 16MP sensor.
It is priced at PHP 12,490 for the 6GB + 64GB model, and PHP 13,990 for the 6GB + 128GB.
One of the things that make the Realme 6 stand out is the 6.5-inches IPS LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Powering it is a MediaTek Helio G90T CPU, Mali-G76 MC4 GPU, and 4GB or 8GB RAM. It comes with four rear cameras consisting of a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP B&W portrait, and a 2MP macro lens. It also comes with a hole-punch at the front that houses a 16MP front-facing camera.
The Realme 6 is available for PHP 11,990 (4GB + 128GB) and PHP 13,990 (8GB + 128GB).
