After the announcement of Huawei that it will be launching a new foldable smartphone called the P50 Pocket by next week, live images a photoshoot were scattered online showing the device from almost all angles.
As expected from the teasers, the images (via @UniverseIce) reveal a flip-phone style of the fold. Unlike the teasers released previously, the images published show the phone to be completely covered in golden color with an embossed ripple pattern finish on the exterior.
On the photos, we see how Huawei implements the cover screen along with the camera. Here we see that the two large circles on the front feature a round screen (much like their smartwatches) while the other has three camera lenses and an LED flash.
Images were originally published by Harper’s Bazaar through Weibo but sadly don’t feature the interior screen of the phone.
We’ll be seeing the actual phone and all its glory at their launch event on December 23, 2021. Stay tuned to find out more details about the spec, price and availability of the Huawei P50 Pocket.
