Google Chrome will end support for Windows 7 and 8.1 by early 2023

Google Chrome Support has just announced that the release of Chrome 110 (tentative for February 7, 2023) will officially mean the end of support for Chrome on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

It was made apparent that older versions of Chrome will continue to work on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 but no future updates will be released for both operating systems.

Users will need to ensure their device is running on Windows 10 or later to stay up to date with future Chrome releases and receive the latest security updates.
