PLDT, Smart in partnership with Huawei readies for 5G

Backward compatibility with present hardware should be assured and efforts to improve coverage should still be continued as new standards/infrastructure are implemented

New mobile standards were adopted to maximize stagnant mobile infrastructure and at the same time trick the public they are getting something better. Thanks 3GPP, world governments and telecom monopolies!

this will fun specially that Smart under PLDT have major issues to even maintain their 2G services which they have a lot. Issues with the 3G connectivity thanks to PLDT and Issues with the 4G and LTE being slower than 3G on almost all area except on their favored locations.

Yep, throw 5G, add more issues.
