REDMI K80, K80 Pro now official: Snapdragon 8 Elite, up to 6550mAh battery, IP68

Xiaomi’s sub-brand has officially launched the new REDMI K80 Series sporting a new look and an updated miniker.

The lineup consists of the vanilla REDMI K80 and the K80 Pro equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively.

Similar specs include a 6.67-inch 2K OLED display, a 50-megapixel main camera, ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68 rating that provides protection against dust and water submersion.

As for the Pro variant, it throws in an additional Xiaomi D1 graphics chip that promises 2K ‘super resolution’ and up to 120 fps. It also deploys 5400mm² vapor chamber cooling system that reduces device temperatures by up to 3-degree Celsius.

Battery-wise, it is bigger on the regular version packing a 6550mAh unit paired with 90W of charging. On the other hand, the Pro gets a 6000mAh battery that supports faster 120W charging and adds 50W wireless charging.
