POCO has officially announced the POCO M8 Power, doubling down on battery life as the standout feature for its budget-tier lineup.
The main highlight is an enormous 8,000mAh battery crammed into an 8.4mm chassis weighing 225 grams. Even with a large battery, it is still relatively thin and light. It has a claimed life of 38 days standby or nearly 28 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.
Up front, the device features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display running at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, with peak brightness reaching 1,800 nits under direct sunlight. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and shelters an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of expandable UFS 2.2 internal storage.
Camera duties are handled by a single 50-megapixel main sensor on the rear alongside an 8-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout. To reload that massive battery, the phone supports 45W wired fast charging and features 22.5W reverse wired charging to top up other mobile accessories.
On the software side, it boots Android 16 with HyperOS 3 out of the box, with POCO committing to an impressive four major Android OS updates and six years of security patches.
The POCO M8 Power is available in Blaze Orange, Black, and Green color options.
Launch pricing in India starts at INR 24,999 for the base 6GB/128GB variant and INR 27,999 for the 8GB/128GB model.
