The Xiaomi 17 lineup is looking to expand even more with the Xiaomi 17 Max. As expected by the name, this phone will be focused on single-charge longevity with the largest battery in the series. Here’s what the brand has announced about its specs.
Firstly, the Xiaomi 17 Max will shelter an 8,000 mAh battery. While not the largest we’ve seen on a smartphone, that is up there with the heavy hitters of the battery-centric smartphone industry. Charging wattage has not been announced yet but many have estimated a 100W capability.

This should be sufficient to feed the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 implanted in the device. This cutting-edge processor is currently at the top of Qualcomm’s food chain, and should be able to run any program, application, or game without even breaking a sweat.
Reports suggest that other specifications may be carried over from the Xiaomi 17 Ultra – such as 12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The same 6.9-inch, 1.5K AMOLED display should also make an appearance with its buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
On the camera optics side of things, it will likely feature a 200-megapixel Leica or Samsung main camera, alongside a Sony 50-megapixel ultrawide and periscope telephoto lens. This superbly capable package will likely boast an IP69 rating for protection.

We’ll let you know if there is any upcoming news on a global release.
