The fully-automated facility managed by Razer Health was built 24 days after Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan teased on his Facebook page a possibility of Singaporean-produced face masks after donating to the National Council of Social Service. This is due to the lack of high quality and reliable suppliers in Southeast Asia amid the increasing demand for face masks.

The factory has an average production rate of 5 million masks per month. It can be scaled up depending on the needs of the region. The Singapore-made face masks by Razer are manufactured in an ISO 13485 certified controlled room environment. To ensure quality, each mask gets certification according to local and international standards.

Recently, Razer donated 1 million face masks to Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States. Also, Razer Fintech has launched a USD50 million COVID-19 relief fund for its partners.
