UPDATED: PRC changes website design after Facebook-like layout fiasco

Komisi Pengaturan Profesi (PRC) menjadi sorotan kemarin setelah tangkapan layar dari portal web mereka tersebar di media sosial karena banyak mengambil inspirasi desain dari Facebook.

Seperti yang terlihat dari tangkapan layar di atas, situs web untuk Sistem Informasi Ujian Lisensi dan Pendaftaran PRC (LERIS) sangat mirip dengan halaman login Facebook dalam tata letak dan desain keseluruhannya. Kami awalnya mengira itu palsu hingga kami mengunjungi situs tersebut. Tampil seperti portal phishing Facebook, namun ini adalah portal pemerintah Filipina bagi para profesional terdaftar.

Kekacauan ini pasti telah sampai kepada pihak-pihak terkait, karena mereka telah mengubah situs web sedikit lebih awal hari ini — sebuah perubahan warna (lihat di bawah).

Kelihatannya para pengelola portal ini perlu memberikan penjelasan. Mari kita harap mereka segera mengubahnya dan melakukannya dengan profesional.

Update 03/08/16:

Situs ini diperbarui dengan tata letak baru yang segar dan fitur pemrosesan yang lebih informatif.

Cloudflare is cheap. Please at least consider using the free version for temporariy Felxible SSL.

Parang ojt lang gumawa napaka basic at walang data encryption. Nawala tuloy bilib ko sa DOST at PRC. Professional pa naman naturingan.

I wouldn’t use this site. It asks for personal details without even using HTTPS!

This is hard evidence on why a department of ICT is needed ASAP. A law must mandate all government offices need to abide by the technical guidance as specified by this dedicated department.

Actually, I don’t get why individual government offices don’t consult DOST for their IT software initiatives. The department has competent people that can guide all other agencies with their implementations of IT.

is that a reliable PRC website?? it is not even SSL-secured (same with passport.com.ph)
