Microsoft's 'Windows 9' event on September 30

The next major version of Windows is definitely around as Microsoft sends out invites for an event that promises a peak of “what’s next for Windows and the enterprise.

The event will take place in San Francisco on September 30 with Joe Belfiore and Terry Myerson leading the pack. The affair will focus on enterprise users of the operating system of the upcoming Windows.

With the recent leaks of multiple features to be expected, Microsoft is presumed to hand out a “Windows Technical Preview” during or after the event for developers and enterprise clients.
