Spotify Wrapped 2022 now available ft. your Listening Personality

This year’s Spotify Wrapped has officially launched with new features including your audio day, listening personality, and over 40,000 artist messages for their fans.

Along with the reveal of your top artists, songs, albums and podcasts for 2022, we get the usual top genres and the total number of minutes you listened, and these are executed in a stories-like presentation that you may share to your social media handles.

The Listening Personality is the new version of last year’s Audio Aura. It brings new layers of personalization and insight to your Wrapped experience and gives a glimpse of your music taste. The new story takes inspiration from the Myers-Brigg personality test that shows an overview of your listening behavior though a four-letter combination.

Additionally, the Audio Day shows you the kinds of mood you resonate with your music throughout the day.

Spotify has now more music artists engaged with in Wrapped ‘thank you’ videos, from 100 artists in 2021 to over 40,000 this year. “With Your Artist Messages this year, select fans will receive end-of-year thank-you videos from some of their 2022 top artists, with each video followed up by their most listened song from that artist this year,” said Spotify.

The Artist Messages comes with a vertical scrolling and can be accessed via a separate page.

Furthermore, Spotify also launched the Spotify Island: WonderWrapped on Roblox, bringing Wrapped-inspired quests, games, and virtual merch. You can even get ‘photo booth opportunities with 12 different artists like Calvin Harris, Stray Kids, NIKI, Bizarrap, Black Sherif, CRO, Doechii, Eslabon Armado, Miranda Lambert, NewJeans, SUNMI, and Tove Lo.

And oh, do we talk about the design of Spotify Wrapped 2022? Well users may not have to complain about it as it takes the Spotify aesthetics ‘conformed’ this time around. Unlike last year’s Wrapped with seemingly eccentric and bold take on graphic design that some fans found unacceptable. Complain no more as this year’s Wrapped is totally a visual treat taking inspiration beyond the stars.

The Spotify Wrapped experience is available in-app via iOS and Android platforms only. Make sure to update Spotify to the most recent version (8.7.78 or higher) to get the sweet wrap up of your 2022 music.
