A few days ago, Apple hiked up the prices for all its Macs due to the global RAM price surge. Now, POCO has also increased its prices on its e-commerce stores such as Shopee Shopee →.
Some value devices like the POCO M8 lineup have been bumped up. The base POCO M8 5G started at just PHP 12,999 but has jumped to PHP 15,999 today. Meanwhile, the Pro version makes a smaller leap from PHP 16,999 to PHP 17,999.
In the upper mid-range, the X8 Pro moves from PHP 18,999 to PHP 25,999, while the Max version goes from PHP 25,999 to PHP 36,999. That’s a staggering increase of PHP 11K.
One last example: the F8 Pro started at just PHP 29,999 but has now gone to PHP 39,999, while the F8 Ultra went from PHP 39,999 to PHP 51,999.
This may not be a comprehensive list, so it would be best to check older prices for the POCO smartphone you’re eyeing to see if it’s been pushed up as well.
