We’ve learned that the local arm of e-commerce website iTrueMart has shut down its operations earlier this month.
In a statement posted on their Facebook page and on their website, the website thanked all its customers and promised to still assist order-related concerns through a dedicated email. The shutdown is a result of the company refocusing its efforts into new ventures.
The Thai company’s shutdown of its PH operations comes almost a year after entering the local online e-commerce landscape and challenging already-established giants such as Lazada and Zalora, and is the third shutdown just this year after other websites LBC and Ensogo had similarly folded.
With this, they are set to hold a closing sale at their warehouse in Pasig starting tomorrow. More details here.
