According to Lenovo, the upgrade will arrive via Over-The-Air (OTA) in the second quarter of 2015.

The company also noted that the upgrade only applies to the models "bought from retail market; operators customized or contract models are not covered."

Upgraded mine to 5.0.2 last 05/01/15. Some Lenovo apps like anti-virus were missing, some features are integrated in system setting, cylindrical transition animation missing.

Just like how huawei promised their P version with kitkat update but lo and behold they lied.

i don’t trust this especially the requirements for lolipop to work. 2 gig is not enough for lollipop unless they make it PURE stock android. otherwise they need at least 3-4 gigs of ram.
