Ookla March 2022: Philippine internet speeds continue to improve

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) attributes this improvement to President Rodrigo Duterte’s mandate to advance improvements in telco services and ensure that the country’s internet speed and quality keep up with the rest of the Southeast Asian countries. Among the policies introduced is the "common tower" policy, which guidelines were issued through their Department Circular (DC) No. 008, s. 2020.
