Red Magic 11 Pro Rumored to Feature Hybrid Air + Water Cooling

Listen to article

Red Magic might be about to redefine cooling tech for gaming phones. A fresh leak suggests that the upcoming Red Magic 11 Pro could be the first smartphone to use both air and water cooling in a single system, a bold step for handling the heat of flagship-level gaming hardware.

According to the rumor, the 11 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, the chipmaker’s most powerful mobile processor yet. Gaming phones like Red Magic devices already employ active cooling with tiny fans, but the addition of water cooling could make the 11 Pro the coolest (literally) phone on the market.

The Red Magic 11 Pro series is set for an official launch in China on October 17, 2025, with reports pointing to at least two models, the 11 Pro and 11 Pro+. Other leaks hint at features like an under-display selfie camera, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68 water resistance.

If true, this hybrid cooling system could be the biggest innovation we’ve seen in gaming phones yet.
