Viber Dating feature launched

Listen to article

The Viber Dating feature has been launched, made to help users “make real connections”. To use the feature, just open the app and navigate to the “More” button represented by three dots.

Your Viber Dating profile will only be visible to people who are also using the feature. It won’t affect your account’s regular appearance, nor will it inform your contacts that you have a dating profile.

The interface will include the user’s name, birthday, gender, and sexual orientation. Aside from this, it will display a brief bio and up to six (6) recent photos. Users may also indicate what they’re looking for (e.g, relationship, new friends, or just some fun).

Plus, Viber recommends that your real name is used for this feature. Your name can’t be changed once it’s set, unlike your sexual orientation and dating preferences. Here are the frequently asked questions (FAQs) from the platform for those interested.

Communication graduate, closet cynic, and kid at heart. Duane is a rare person to find, quite literally. He often takes to himself but has proven his mettle in tech media with his quick wits. Well, the portfolio of scriptwriting, web content, and public relations help too, we suppose. As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.
