국토교통프랜차이징 및 규제위원회(LTFRB)는 특히 연휴 기간 동안 요금이 부당하게 급등한다는 이유로 Uber와 Grab에 경고를 발령했습니다.
In a press release posted on their Facebook page, the LTFRB warns Uber and Grab "not to take advantage of the holiday season as a reason to unreasonably surge their respective rates." The agency said that they have received complaints where the surge ranges from Php2,000 to Php28,000.
LTFRB는 또한 Uber의 “예측 기반 선불 요금”에 대해 협의되지 않았으며, 부당한 요금 급등이 지속될 경우 인증을 정지하거나 취소할 권리가 있다고 덧붙였습니다.
