Motorola has officially announced its 2022 iteration of the Razr clamshell flagship, sporting 6.7-inch FHD+ P-OLED panel at 144Hz refresh rate with a punch-hole housing its 32MP selfie camera, and a mini-display at its back 2.7-inch P-OLED along with the 50MP OIS-capable dual cameras.
Unlike Razr 2022’s predecessor released in 2019, its chin is now much thinner, has a slimmer, more durable hinge, and now equipped with the top-of-the-line processor, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 (previous models only had the Snapdragon 7XX chips). It has up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 3,500mAh battery with 33W charging rate. Check out its specs, pricing and availability details below.
Moreover, its hinge allows the screen to fold in a ‘waterdrop’ approach, leaving almost no gap and less crease, with the inner arc radius measuring to only 3.3mm. It is crafted with 122 small custom parts, and ‘six-layer protection.’ This design is similar to ‘micro waterdrop hinge’ on Xiaomi’s Mix Fold 2 that will be unfolded later tonight.
