5 Best Features of the Realme 3

Realme 3 has finally arrived in the Philippines! Once a sub-brand of OPPO, Realme’s carving a name for itself in the industry. With the success of the Realme C1, the smartphone brand has decided to bring its latest entry, the Realme 3, to our shores. If you’re considering this device in your picks, we took a look at five of its best features to help you decide. Check them out!

Gradient design

The unibody gradient design of the Realme 3, while common with smartphones these days, is pretty to look at. It comes in two flavors, namely the Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue. The gradient is appealing to the eyes and will definitely remind you of a starry night sky.

Processor

The Realme 3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60, equipping the device with a pretty decent performance. Multitasking won’t be an issue when it comes to the Realme 3 thanks to 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Games are playable but do take note that one has to settle for default or medium game settings for it to run as smooth as possible.

Battery

Carrying a whopping amount of 4,230mAh battery capacity, the Realme 3 will last you about the entire day. Tasks we’ve done on the phone included connecting to the WiFi or mobile data, taking photos, playing games, among others. If you stretch it enough and do very minimal tasks, the Realme 3’s battery will probably last two days at most.

Cameras

As for cameras, the Realme 3 is equipped with 13MP f/1.8 + 2MP f/2.4 dual rear cameras and a 13MP shooter on the front. The selfie camera has AI Beauty, Panorama mode, and a Timelapse mode as well. On the other hand, the rear camera also has a couple of functionalities such as AI Beauty, panorama, expert, timelapse, slow-mo, and portrait mode with a fixed blurriness level. Apart from those features, the Realme 3’s rear cameras also have a Nightscape mode, making photos look vibrant even in lowlight conditions.

Price point

Last but not least, let’s talk about the Realme 3’s pricing. For a device that’s powered by Helio P60 coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, has a great set of cameras and carries a 4,230mAh battery capacity, the price of the Realme 3 is out of this world. Honestly, all of those features for under PHP 10,000? That’s a huge steal already. Here are the prices of each variant:

  • Realme 3 (3GB + 32GB Online exclusive) – PHP 6,990
  • Realme 3 (3GB + 64GB) – PHP 7,990
  • Realme 3 (4GB + 64GB) – PHP 9,990

The Realme 3 will be on a Flash Sale at Realme’s official Shopee page on March 25, 2019, allowing you to purchase the 3GB + 32GB model for just PHP 6,290 via a special voucher code.
