Acer has just announced its newest smartphone offering in the Next@Acer event — the Liquid Zest Plus, a mid-tier smartphone with whooping 5000mAh battery and quick charge support.

The Acer Liquid Zest Plus is a slightly upgraded version of the Acer Liquid Zest which was announced last February 2016. This new variant will sport a 5.5 inch display and 5000mAh battery with quick-charge support. Acer also incorporated a tri-focus system for camera performance enhancement with features such as laser focus, phase detection autofocus and contrast detection autofocus.

It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core chip running at 1.3GHz Cortex-A53, Mali-T720 GPU with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage.
Full specification of the device is not unveiled yet, but Acer claimed that this will fall under the mid-range smartphone category and will only cost ~$250 when released.
