Acer Super ZX, Super ZX Pro now official

Acer is officially back in the smartphone space, at least in India, with the launch of two new models: the Acer Super ZX and Acer Super ZX Pro.

These new phones are developed and sold by Indkal Technologies, the company now licensed to handle Acer smartphones in the country.

Acer Super ZX

The vanilla Acer Super ZX is positioned as an entry-level device, sporting a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. A 5,000mAh battery keeps things running, with support for 33W fast charging.

Camera-wise, it has a 13MP selfie shooter and a triple rear setup: 64MP main (Sony IMX682 sensor), 2MP macro, and 2MP depth.

Acer Super ZX Pro

Meanwhile, the Super ZX Pro upgrades to a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brighness.

Performance-wise, it runs on the Dimensity 7400 chip, with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

For cameras, it has a 50MP front sensor (OmniVision OV50D), while the rear setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main, 5MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lenses.

Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6, and a glass back. It has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Acer Super ZX Pro and the base Super ZX start at INR 17,990 and INR 9,990, respectively.

Both models will be available via Amazon India starting April 25, 2025.
