Acer is officially back in the smartphone space, at least in India, with the launch of two new models: the Acer Super ZX and Acer Super ZX Pro. These new phones are developed and sold by Indkal Technologies, the company now licensed to handle Acer smartphones in the country. Acer Super ZX The vanilla Acer Super ZX is positioned as an entry-level device, sporting a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness. Acer Super ZX Pro Meanwhile, the Super ZX Pro upgrades to a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brighness. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995. The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990.
